You’re Not Using AI Wrong — You’re Just Using Weak Prompts. A Tool to Get Better Outputs
Some AI Goodies for You
If you’ve ever stared at a blank screen, wondering how to make ChatGPT (or any AI tool) actually get what you’re trying to say?
You’re not the only one!
But here’s the thing: the prompt you use determines everything that comes next.
📌Basic v. Enhanced Prompts (and Why It Matters)
A basic prompt sounds like:
“Write a blog post about morning routines.”
You’ll get something generic, fine-ish… but forgettable.
An enhanced prompt sounds more like:
“Act as Gary Halbert, one of the greatest copywriters of all time. Write a 500-word blog post on morning routines for creative entrepreneurs who struggle with consistency. Make it motivational, include 3 simple tips, and use a casual, upbeat tone.”
See the difference? One tells the AI what to do. The other tells it how, why, and for whom, as well as the role to play.
The more specific your prompt, the more aligned and usable the output becomes.
I’ve been studying prompt engineering (which is a REALLY important skill in my humble opinion) and playing with creating prompts. The more you play around with them, the better you can become at using them.
BUT I just recently discovered an AI tool that automatically takes your simple prompt and turns it into a super prompt!
I was so excited that I immediately wrote this newsletter to share it!
Right now, it’s being beta-tested, but if you act quickly, you may be able to open a free account!
With tools like Revven, you don’t have to become a prompt engineer to write like one.
💡Why I’m Loving the FREE Version of Revven
As someone who’s been studying prompt engineering, here’s why I’m excited about what Revven’s free plan already offers:
1. Thoughtfully Guided Prompt Builder: Instead of staring at a blinking cursor, just put in your simple prompt, and Revven guides you to craft high-quality prompts tailored to your goal, audience, and tone.
2. Templates That Speak Your Language: Whether you’re writing emails, product descriptions, or YouTube scripts, the templates are creator-ready — no corporate jargon or stiff formatting.
3. Instant Confidence Boost: You’ll get better output faster — which means less second-guessing, more publishing, and more time creating the stuff you actually care about.
Like I said, I’ve been studying how to build effective prompts, and this tool does a great job of transforming my prompts in seconds!
Even the Free Tools Can Get You Results
Also, you don’t need to upgrade right away to get traction. I’ve been using the free version and it’s making a real difference. If you’re creating content regularly (or trying to), Revven’s free version is a great place to start building some actual momentum.
