Your Audience Can Feel It — Even If You Don’t Say It Out Loud
The hidden ingredient behind engagement, trust, and those unexpected viral moments
You’ve heard it before:
“If you can dream it, you can be it.”
“Where your focus goes, energy flows.”
“Thoughts become things”
It’s the Law of Attraction, right?
But how many of us actually take this law seriously?
Like, actually spend time implementing it.
Do You Take It Seriously?
I know I didn’t. At least not in my writing.
That was until something odd happened.
What I Learned Using Instagram
As a regular Instagram user, I found that most of my reels and stories were typically getting only a couple of hundred views. But since I don’t post regularly or with any sort of strategy, and have been really just doing it for fun, I figured I was reaping what I sowed, which wasn’t a lot.
But then something strange happened.
I posted a few reels about Starseeds (humans seeded here from other star races), and suddenly my views were in the thousands.
So, what changed?
The “Aha” Moment
It was the energy behind my message.
I was speaking about a topic I’m really interested in (although likely strange to many others)
And I was doing it with the energy of excitement, positivity, and authority.
While my other reels about ETs and disclosure are also of interest to me, I’m not quite as passionate about those topics as I am about Starseeds and their mission here on Earth.
And clearly it showed!
To Chase or Not to Chase?
So, here’s my take: As a new Substacker, I’m noticing a lot of discussion on the platform about subscriber counts and how to increase them through various strategies and frameworks.
While I’m sure these methods work (and as a newbie, I’m working to implement some of them myself), I’m 100% convinced that the energy behind your words matters even more.
Here’s a challenge for you: Spend some time thinking about what REALLY excites you, and then, after sitting in that high-vibe state for a few minutes, write a Substack post.
Except try writing it from your heart (and definitely without your internal critic raining on your parade).
Then edit it if you must. But with a sense of carefree adventure and light-heartedness.
Then see what happens next.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
My bet is you get more engagement than you expected! And more joy!
When was the last time you wrote with passion? Or about something you love? Or when you were really excited to share your message?
Writers should get paid for doing what they love, which is educating, inspiring, and entertaining others. Because I’m new to this platform, I haven’t set up a paywall yet, but I plan to do so in the future. If you’re thinking about subscribing, you may want to do so sooner rather than later:)
