Are You Ready to Start Taking Action?
Using the Firehorse Energy of the New Year and Inspired Writing to Propel You Forward
Did you know that we are now in a new astrological year? Itâs the Year of the Firehorse, and the Firehorse is all about taking aligned action.
Couple this with the fact that weâre in Aries season, and youâve got yourself motivation in spades!
So what do we do with all of this fiery ambition and passion?
We may feel pushed to move forward, but a bit uncertain about which direction to take.
And thatâs ok!
Experimentation is always good, even if we have to course-correct later.
But What If I Donât Want to Waste Any More Time Taking the Wrong Action?
This is where Iâve landed. Iâve pivoted over and over again with new ideas, new content, new courses, new offers, and . . . Iâm tired.
Iâm tired of going down the wrong path and having to redo everything all over again. Redo my branding, redo my mission statement, redo my content pillars, redo my bios, redo my Claude Project instructions.
Iâm a psychic intuitive for goodness sake, how did I get here?
Well, turns out I wasnât tuning in to my inner knowing. Yup, thatâs right. A psychic who wasnât using her psychic gifts. How about them apples?
Instead, I was racing forward with ideas sprouting from my mind, my ego, my personality. The logical, reasoning part of myself. The part of me that thought â oh, this is what people need and what I can build a business doing.
Horn blast
No, no, no, no, no! This was NOT me taking aligned action.
These ideas were NOT coming from my inner knowing (aka intuition, Higher Self, inner being, inner spirit).
Wow, what a lesson it has been. And ouch, yes, it hurt.
But humility is a good thing, and recognizing your mistakes is always a win.
So Whatâs Next?
Hereâs the shift that changed everything for me â and itâs both simpler and harder than it sounds.
The first step: gently nudging your mind out of the driverâs seat. Not silencing it. Not fighting it. Just getting still enough that something deeper can surface.
For me, that looked like getting into a meditative state â eyes closed, slow breathing, no agenda. Just creating space. And what I noticed is that when my mind softened, something else came through. Quieter. Steadier. Truer.
Your mind is a brilliant executor. But it was never meant to be the source of your inspiration.
So spend time connecting with your body and learning what is a âyesâ and what is a âno.â
Why? Because our bodies are the instruments our intuition uses to communicate with us.
Sure, itâs a lot more subtle than using our minds. But our intuition has some really valuable insights to impart.
Why? Because our intuition is connected to the ALL (aka Universe, Higher Intelligence, God, Source, Creator). So, yes, it definitely knows things.
It knows what steps to take to bring you joy, peace, fulfillment, abundance, and love.
Where Can I Begin?
In silence.
Turn off your phone. Close your eyes. Connect inward.
Slow down. Spend time in nature. Listen to your body.
Get reacquainted with your soul self.
For me, I tried journaling. But nothing quieted the noise the way Inspired Writing did.
My Favorite Tool for Connecting Inward
My favorite tool is Inspired Writing â a meditative writing practice where you let words flow through you, not from you.
I push my busy mind aside. I get into a meditative state. And I let the words flow through me.
Words that come from my soul self or inner knowing.
Words that do not originate from my mind.
My pen is simply the channel for my knowing. It just records what flows through me.
Itâs really quite magical.
And hereâs a simple way to try it tonight: place a journal next to your bed. Tomorrow morning, before youâre fully awake â still in that soft, drowsy state â pick up the pen and just let whatever comes flow onto the page. No editing. No thinking. Just writing.
Twenty minutes of that can give you more clarity than months of spinning in your head. I promise you.
